Picture
Cynthia Hornor has been involved in agility since 1997. She has put multiple championships on several dogs in both USDAA and AKC agility. She has been a national finalist in both USDAA and AKC national events. Her team finished 2nd in the 2010 USDAA Cynosport games and she finished 7th in the very competitive 20" class at the 2012 AKC Nationals in Reno, NV. Her youngest border collie, Spice won round 1 at the 2013 AKC nationals and competed in the "Challengers round" in Tulsa, OK. She has placed highly at several USDAA regional events and won the 22" Grand prix at the 2013 Cynosport games, winning her first national championship. Spice was a Bronze Medalist at the 2014 Cynosport games in 22" Biathlon. She was also the Bronze Medalist at the UKI US Open and the Masters Heat Champion at the same event.  She is a 2015 WAO Team member going to the Netherlands, and a 2015 IFCS World team member - Alternate. Her border collie, Rowdy, finished third in the 2013 22" Grand Prix.  Cynthia is one of the few handlers to ever hold two podium spots in Grand Prix finals at USDAA Nationals. Cynthia believes agility should be fun for both dog and handler. She believes in helping to build a team's full potential using positive reinforcement and consistent handling. She can help with a dogs' motivation and self control issues.  She enjoys working with all dog breeds and owns both Shelties and Border Collies, giving her an insight on what it takes to be successful running both large and small dogs.
